The Department for Electronic Mission is focused on covering the digital space of the Archdiocese of Belgrade-Karlovica, while making maximum use of the potential of Internet technologies, in order to bring Orthodox Christianity and church life closer to a wider circle of people. Studying the possibility of applying IT technologies for the development of Internet missions for preaching the Gospel will be the main strategic goal of this Department.

Among the main goals of this department are the expansion of the church’s mission in the Internet sphere, promotion of Christian values ​​and way of life via the Internet, as well as further encouraging the use of IT technologies in the service of the Church, with constant emphasis on the need for direct and physical experience of church life through personal participation in liturgical life Churches.

At the same time, this department also provides the necessary technical support to other departments, primarily in the field of connecting the content of missionary internet portals, posting media materials and creating internet video channels in which selected AEM priests participate. The special role of this department is cooperation with AEM priests and religious teachers who are active in the Internet domain, as well as their training of interested priests and religious teachers for the Internet mission and performance in the mass media sphere.
